Since we first opened in Brighton nearly 50 years ago, we’ve welcomed thousands of guests with our homemade, comforting British classics and exciting seasonal creations, alongside an unrivalled choice of cocktails, wine and Champagne. We now occupy prime spots in historic and culturally rich towns and cities across the UK, often in beautiful landmark buildings, including Cambridge\u2019s Old Addenbrooke\u2019s Hospital and Covent Garden\u2019s former Westminster County Court.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Browns is unique in its offering and unique in its history; entrepreneur Jeremy Mogford, the company\u2019s founder, is often cited as an enlightened employer, training and fostering staff to deliver the first class service we are renowned for.\u00a0<\/p>\n

His approach remains at the heart of our ethos, fuelling the creation of a successful apprenticeship scheme, and inspiring many other hospitality businesses.<\/p>\n

From our food to our people, we are committed to operating responsibly and having a positive impact on the world.<\/p>\n

We work closely with all our suppliers, independent farmers and fisherman to ensure optimum animal welfare while limiting food miles to limit our carbon footprint.<\/p>\n

Of course, there is always something more that can be done and we are currently reviewing all areas of our business, from plastics to food waste, to see how we can be the best we can possibly be.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
